Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough homemade or store bought
  • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 4 oz low moisture mozzarella cheese or 1 to 1.5 cups
  • 1/2 jalapeno thinly sliced
  • 4 oz cooked chicken breast shredded or diced
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish
  • Ranch dressing for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 475°F and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured piece of parchment paper until it is about 12 inches in diameter. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.

  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top followed by chicken, jalapeno slices, and red onion.

  • Remove the hot pizza stone or baking sheet from the oven and carefully transfer the dough onto it. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro and a drizzle of ranch before serving.
