Sweet Cream Cheese and Peach Danish

Sweet Cream Cheese and Peach Danish

Peach season is the best excuse to make something sweet, simple, and stunning, like this Sweet Cream Cheese and Peach Danish. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep, you can whip up a gorgeous pastry that tastes like it came from your favorite bakery.

Sweet Cream Cheese and Peach Danish

This Danish starts with a sheet of store-bought puff pastry, which gets golden and flaky in the oven. It is topped with a sweet, vanilla-kissed cream cheese layer and thinly sliced fresh peaches. A light sprinkle of brown sugar helps the fruit caramelize as it bakes, adding depth and a little crunch to every bite. The combination of the tangy cream cheese and juicy peaches is truly irresistible and perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients Needed to Make Sweet Cream Cheese and Peach Danish~

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 fresh peaches, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tsp of honey to drizzle

Notes for Success~

✔️ Ripe peaches offer the best texture and sweetness.
✔️ Let your cream cheese fully soften to avoid lumps in the filling.
✔️ Thaw puff pastry in the fridge, not at room temp, for the flakiest results.
✔️ Scoring the border helps puff pastry rise evenly around the edges.
✔️ Serve warm or at room temperature for the best flavor.

🍽️ How to Serve~

  • For Brunch: Pair with a hot cup of vanilla latte or a sparkling iced tea for a café-style breakfast at home. Or serve alongside a Ham and Cheddar Strata Bake or Cacio E Pepe Scrambled Eggs for a full spread.
  • As a Light Summer Dessert: Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of honey for a decadent treat. Or serve with whipped cream and fresh mint for an elegant summer dinner party finish.
