Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette Bread
  • 4-6 oz Brie Cheese
  • 1 Apple (Any Variety)
  • 4 tbsp Apple Butter
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1-2 tbsp Honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375° Fahrenheit. Slice your baguette bread into 1/2-inch-thick slices, I like to cut my bread on a bias or at an angle. Core and cut your apple into thin slices and cut your brie cheese into thin slices about the size of your baguette bread.
  • Assemble the crostini by spreading a thin layer of apple butter onto each piece of bread. Top with a slice of brie cheese then 1 to 2 slices of apple.
  • Place the crostini onto a sheet pan and bake for 7-9 minutes. Remove from the sheet pan immediately, and place on a plate or serving tray. Top each crostini with a sprinkle of walnuts and a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately and ENJOY!

Notes

Feel free to substitute any nuts or your favorite soft melty cheese. The cheese will ooze and melt onto the sheet pan, which is okay. Try to remove the crostini from the sheet pan immediately after taking them out of the oven to prevent sticking.
