Honey Dijon Salmon

This salmon is easy to make and packed with so much flavor. The salmon bakes at 425 F and will come out perfectly every time. This salmon is a delicious protein your whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz salmon filets
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp dill, fresh or dried
  • ΒΌ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Make marinade by mixing honey, olive oil, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dill, and red pepper flakes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and drizzle with olive oil. Place salmon filets on a parchment or foiled lined baking sheet skin side down.
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Using a kitchen brush or the back of a spoon, slather each piece of salmon with marinade. Season each filet with salt and cracked pepper. Let salmon sit at room temperature until your oven preheats
  • Cook salmon for 15 minutes or until desired doneness. Pull salmon out of oven and serve immediately.

Notes

The recipe serves 3 people, add additional salmon filets to make more servings. If your salmon is extra thick or larger than 6oz cook the salmon for 20 minutes to ensure doneness. Some salmon filets will not have skin, some will, if your salmon has skin make sure to take the skin off before serving.
