The Best Maple Almond Granola

My maple almond granola is so tasty and perfect for snacking or adding to your favorite yogurt. The granola is crunchy and tender and perfectly sweetened.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Slivered Almonds
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. To a large bowl add the oats, almonds, chia seeds, brown sugar, vanilla extract, olive oil, and maple syrup. Mix well until combined and evenly incorporated.
  • Add the mixture to a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it into an even layer. Pop the granola in the oven and cook for 45 minutes, stirring the granola half around the halfway point.
  • Let the granola cool for at least 20 minutes and enjoy!

Notes

The recipe and steps are super easy, you only have need to flip the mixture one time. Feel free to make substitutions like swapping the almonds for another nut like cashews, walnuts, or macadamia. The chia seeds are optional as well, they add texture and protein and can be found in grocery stores. You can make adjustments to the sugar and maple syrup depending on preference.
