fig jam on everything

This grilled cheese is elevated with a smear of fig jam on both sides of toasted bread, then layered with white cheddar, sliced ham, and a drizzle of honey. The outsides of the bread are smeared with butter then toasted to perfection. This meal is cozy super cozy and is the perfect comfort food.

Super customizable

Feel free to use your bread of choice, meat of choice and cheese of choice. I love thick rustic sourdough bread, but your favorite bread will work great. Get creative with cheese or use whatever you have on hand. You can also substitute turkey or prosciutto would work great as well. Leave out the meat completely if you’re vegetarian.
