Sweet Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Roasted Brussels sprouts are always a hit and the crispy bacon, sweet medjool dates, and maple syrup adds a ton of flavor. With just a handful of ingredients and about 10 minutes of hands-on prep, this recipe is easy to make and full of flavor. The bacon crisps up in the oven, the dates soften and caramelize, and the Brussels sprouts get beautifully golden with crisp edges.

  • 4 slices of thick-cut bacon, cut into 1-inch slices

Notes for Success~

✔️ Use fresh veggies for the best texture— frozen will work as well.

✔️ Cut sprouts into quarters for more surface area and crispier edges.

✔️ Don’t overcrowd the pan—spread everything out evenly to help caramelization.

✔️ Make sure to check on the dish at the 20-minute mark to avoid overcooking.

✔️ Use parchment paper for easier cleanup and to keep sugars from sticking.

How to Serve the Maple Bacon and Date Roasted Brussels Sprouts~

  • Serve with a cozy main like Garlic Butter Whole Roasted Chicken
  • Pair with a hearty side like Sheet Pan Ham and Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes
  • Add to a holiday spread with Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, and Green Bean Casserole
  • Toss leftovers into a grain bowl or over a salad for a quick lunch

These Brussels sprouts are a side dish that truly delivers: flavorful, festive, and just fancy enough to impress without the extra effort. Let them shine on your next menu—you’ll be glad you did.
