Prosciutto Cheddar and Fig Toast

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe
Fig Cheddar and Prosciutto Toast

My prosciutto cheddar and fig toast recipe is perfect for entertaining or snacking. It only requires 5 ingredients to make and comes together in minutes. Perfect for your next party or gathering, it is the perfect balance of sweet from the honey and figs and salty from prosciutto.

Fig Season

Figs are sweet, plump treats available in varieties like Mission, Brown Turkey, and Sierra. The fig season typically runs from May to November, so if you can find fresh ones, they’re the best choice. If fresh figs are out of season or hard to find, dried figs work too—just soak them in water for a few minutes to rehydrate.

Notes for Success

Feel free to use any cheese you have on hand, I used a mild white cheddar because it is not too overpowering and mellow. This is a wonderful dish for entertaining because it comes together quickly and only requires a few ingredients.
