Avocado and Cilantro Hummus

This super simple avocado Cilantro hummus is super simple to make and a fun twist on classic guacamole. The texture is extremely creamy and smooth, the perfect dip or addition to a sandwich or salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 Avocados
  • ¼ cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 can Chickpeas
  • ¼ cup lemon Juice
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne Powder
  • ½ tsp Ground Cumin Powder
  • 2 Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • Begin by prepping your avocado by slicing down the center lengthwise and carefully remove the pit.
  • Add the avocado, cilantro, canned chickpeas, tahini, lemon, cayenne powder, ground cumin, olive oil, and a few ice cubes to a food processor or blender. Blend on high until smooth for about 3 minutes.
  • Transfer the hummus to a bowl and enjoy with warm pita or veggies, enjoy!

Notes

The ice cubes add texture, they are optional. Blend the hummus on high for at least 3 minutes for optimal smoothness.
