Ingredients

  • 4 Fresh Tomatoes
  • 1 juice from 1 lime
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • ½ Onion
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1 Jalapeno
  • ½ tsp salt
  • cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prep your veggies, rough chop your tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeno (taste your jalapeno and decide how much you want to add). Dice your onion.
  • Add tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeno, honey, lime juice, salt and pepper to a food processor or blender. Pulse a few times to break up tomatoes and jalapeno. Blitz the salsa for a few seconds until the salsa is broken down and smooth.
  • Stir in the onion and extra cilantro if desired. Serve with chips or use as a topping and enjoy.

Notes

Add the chopped onion into your salsa, after blending the salsa to keep the texture and crunch of the onion. Check your jalapeno for heat, sometimes jalapenos can range from very mild to very spicy. You can substitute your favorite hot peppers or substitute red onion. You can substitute two cans of tomatoes for the fresh tomatoes.
