The Best Maple Almond Granola

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

I finally cracked the code for the perfect granola, it’s slightly sweet, nutty, and crispy but still tender. The oats almost melt in your mouth and have a touch of maple. This maple almond granola is the perfect topping on your favorite yogurt for added texture and crunch.

Easy Homemade Almond Granola

My homemade granola recipe could not be any easier; you mix, bake, and toss one time. The hardest part is not eating all of it in one sitting. We use simple pantry ingredients and the recipe is completely customizable. You can substitute any nut or adjust the sweetness level to your liking. The granola is vegan and gluten-free for the perfect snack to have on hand.

Ingredients Needed to Make Maple Almond Granola~

  • Rolled Oats
  • Maple Syrup
  • Brown Sugar
  • Olive Oil
  • Slivered Almonds
  • Vanilla extract
  • Salt
  • Chia Seeds

How to Make Maple Almond Granola Step by Step~

STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Add the oats, almonds, chia seeds, brown sugar, vanilla extract, olive oil, and maple syrup to a large bowl. Mix well until combined and evenly incorporated.

STEP 2: Add the mixture to a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it into an even layer. Pop the granola in the oven and cook for 45 minutes, stirring the granola half around the halfway point.

STEP 3: Let the granola cool for at least 20 minutes and enjoy!

Notes for Success

The recipe and steps are super easy, you only have need to flip the mixture one time. Feel free to make substitutions like swapping the almonds for another nut like cashews, walnuts, or macadamia. The chia seeds are optional as well, they add texture and protein and can be found in grocery stores. You can make adjustments to the sugar and maple syrup depending on preference.
